Customer Service and Sales in Morocco

An Opinion

Do you want to know why customer service managers in our country often fall short, and why sales departments frequently leave much to be desired?

In my opinion, it isn’t entirely their fault.

In many ways, they are like today’s children—many of whom struggle to greet others, hold a conversation, or build genuine human connections.

One possible reason is economic.

During my parents’ generation, a father could often support an entire family on a single income. Today, in most households, both parents have to work. As a result, there is far less time for children to grow up surrounded by cousins, neighbors, grandparents, and extended family.

This gradual weakening of our social fabric has contributed to a generation that can sometimes appear disconnected from human interaction, empathy, and emotional communication.

To make matters worse, many young people are now being raised as much by social media and digital screens as by their parents.

Can we realistically expect better outcomes for the future?

I’m not entirely convinced.

I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.
