This is a fascinating statement that I still hear from some prospective clients from time to time.
My answer is always simple:
Even if you don’t train them, they might still leave.
The only difference is that, in the meantime, they may mismanage your business and provide poor service to your customers.
The cost of training is peanuts compared to the cost of not training your employees.
Moreover, as a socially responsible company, investing in the skills and development of your people is never a loss. Even if they eventually move on, you’ve contributed to building a more capable workforce—and that’s an investment that benefits everyone.
