If you could manifest things simply through the power of thought, you would be a magician.
Yet today, many people genuinely try to convince me that this is reality.
They often point to chance encounters or coincidences as proof, as though such events don’t naturally happen to everyone. People have been led to believe that the ordinary events of everyday life occur because of some special energy they supposedly emit. At the same time, they’ve been convinced that if they fail to achieve happiness, inner peace, or financial success, it is because their thoughts are somehow “incorrect.”
To avoid being misled by claims that lack evidence or solid foundations, let us remember the one formula you’ll never hear from those selling spirituality and positive energy:
Hard work, consistently applied over time.
In reality, what most reliably leads to success is excellence in what we do, discipline, perseverance, continuous learning, and unwavering commitment.
As the American saying goes:
“The harder you work, the luckier you get.”
Let’s be clear: you will never attract a successful business, a luxury home, or a new car simply by thinking about it.
That said, I understand why so many people are drawn to these ideas. In a world that can often feel harsh and unforgiving, it’s only natural to seek easy answers and magical solutions.
But we should also recognize who truly benefits from the so-called Law of Attraction.
The people who consistently succeed are often those selling the dream to individuals desperately searching for relief—people who are so eager for hope that they become willing to believe in extraordinary powers.
For these self-proclaimed “gurus,” the Law of Attraction has indeed worked… because they have successfully attracted loyal customers who continue to finance their success—at least until one day, perhaps, those customers realize they have been chasing nothing more than a mirage.
